Our Story

Suncoast Classic Events was born from a legacy of fishermen that wanted to grow the sport of fishing for women, staying team-driven and family-oriented all while giving back to a local charity, Ready for Life Pinellas.  The Suncoast Kingfish Classic was the original kingfish tournament on this coast, which began over thirty years ago.  As the years have gone by, the organization has grown into fishing events for families, hardcore anglers, education for those wanting to learn more about our fisheries, and aligning with local conservation groups to protect our waterways. Additionally, we specialize in private & corporate events. The mission is still the same…to grow the support while keeping our events team driven and family oriented.
